Share your space: Our permanent makeup and microblading artists share their clinics - K.B Pro

One of the most exciting things about setting up your own Permanent Makeup and Microblading business (aside from giving clients their dream PMU, of course!) is creating your own clinic space!

There’s something really special about having your own little (or big) sanctuary to decorate to your taste and welcome your wonderful clients to. We love seeing what our trained techs have done with their chosen spaces, and we know you love getting your pinterest inspiration on too! With that in mind, we opened the floor and asked our fabulous trained techs and students to share their space with us and tell us a little about it.

First up is Helen’s gorgeous clinic – Estetica Permanent Cosmetics. Based in Leeds, Helen converted a car spares shop into her dream space. We love the high-end feel and those cute little heart details dotted around the interior.

Meanwhile, Hayley has transformed a gorgeous space on the upper floor of an old Victorian house over in Dundee. “I put up a partition wall in one of the huge rooms to create my little clinic space.” Hayley said. We love the beautiful storage and professional look!

Sometimes, it might make more sense for you to set up your clinic within the grounds of your home due to family life or other commitments. That’s exactly what Becky, owner of Becky Barraclough Beauty, did at her home in Ripponden. “I converted two out-houses 18 months ago into one little salon, I’ve never looked back! I work around my two children so it’s easy – but it’s nice it’s not actually in my house.” Becky says. What a transformation!

Jackie also decided that working from home was the best option for her. “I have worked from home for 13 years and recently redecorated! I have recently qualified in microblading and it’s going very well!” Jackie says. We love the homely but professional feel that Jackie has created for her business aptly named, Beauty At Home!

Claire Wood, owner of Envy Brows and Permanent Makeup, found her dream space in a self-contained room above a large shop. “This is my space, where I’ve begun my PM journey and I love working in here.” Says Claire. “My neighbours include a nail bar and small estate agents. I know there’s not much colour and it’s practically all white, but I like that it’s so fresh and airy and on a bright day especially when the sun is shining, it lights up the room lovely. Some clients have commented it looks clinical…which is a good thing!” We love the fresh, clean aesthetic!
